HOW FAR I'LL GO

This project is dedicated to celebrating 100 years of Disney’s legacy. I aim to convey courage and strength to children through the use of bold, statement-making silhouettes. Every element of my design will be thoughtfully curated, with the color palette playing a key role in narrating the story. I want the entire collection to radiate a sense of brightness, positivity, and cheerfulness, making it visually engaging and uplifting.

One of the central inspirations for this collection is Moana, which is rich in cultural significance. It’s crucial for me to capture the spirit of Polynesian culture, reflecting a sense of belonging and identity that resonates deeply with the story. I want to incorporate these cultural elements in a way that’s authentic and respectful, bringing out the beauty of Polynesian motifs and aesthetics.

Additionally, as part of the requirements, I will be integrating original Disney artworks into the garments. My goal is to make sure that these artworks are prominently displayed, adding a touch of nostalgia and excitement for Moana fans. Every detail will be designed to catch the eye, making the collection not only visually impactful but also a celebration of the beloved Disney character and her journey.
